19 Firefighters Die In Arizona Wildland Blaze

AZ Central.com reports tonight that 19 firefighters assigned to a wildfire in Arizona died in the line of duty. The crew was assigned to the Yarnell Hill Fire 25 miles north of Wickenburg.

Twitter users are pointing to the victims as being from the Granite Mountain Hot Shot Crew from Prescott Arizona.

Early reports indicate more than 250 homes or structures in and around Yarnell have been destroyed.

    My thoughts and prayers to the families and friends of theses 19. Greatest number of ff killed in a single wildfire since 1933 in California when 25 were killed.
