ยท The fire area did not receive the high winds which were predicted for this afternoon. However, strong winds, averaging 15 – 20 miles per hour, with gusts to 35 are predicted for tomorrow. With the lighter winds, crews continued to make excellent progress on building and strengthening fire lines, maintaining structure protection and working into the fire perimeter to cool hot spots.”
